A few words about
What We Do
Our projects
Our organization is involved in numerous projects, putting a smile on people's face one day at a time.
Giving kids school supplies boosts confidence and readiness, and yes, plenty of smiles. Spend time with abandoned or lonely elders. Your presence alone can mean the world
Education
At Wasat Foundation, we step in to support school-going children with essentials like tuition fees, uniforms, school supplies, and mentorship. Our goal is to ensure no child is forced to drop out because of circumstances beyond their control. By investing in their education today, we’re unlocking doors of opportunity and shaping leaders for tomorrow.
Health care
we believe that every senior deserves love, respect, and care in their twilight years. Many elderly individuals face neglect, isolation, poverty, or health challenges, especially when family support is lacking. Through regular home visits, medical support, food packages, and companionship, we restore their dignity and remind them that they still matter deeply. Providing care to the elderly is not just charity, it’s honoring those who paved the way for us.
Awareness
At Wasat Foundation, we are committed to breaking the silence, educating communities, and protecting the vulnerable from harmful practices rooted in tradition but fueled by misinformation and inequality. FGM is not a rite of passage, it is a life-altering act of violence with no medical benefit. Through grassroots outreach, school programs, and partnerships with local leaders, we challenge cultural norms, promote gender equality, and empower survivors.
Leadership
Youth bring innovation, energy, and bold ideas while women offer resilience, compassion, and unique perspectives grounded in lived experience. Yet, many face barriers such as limited access to education, resources, and decision-making spaces. Through leadership training, mentorship, and capacity-building programs, we’re nurturing a new generation of change-makers. Investing in youth Iand women is not just inclusion. It’s smart, sustainable development. Because when they lead, society thrives.
